It’s been a long time since I last updated this blog,
actually there are some I would like to share here. Okay, let me upload them
one by one and I will start with a gown for my cousin’s wedding in which my
husband and I were asked to escort the guests on that beautiful event. Fortunately
I was given a 2 meter length flowery maroon fabric of chiffon instead of
brocade, to tell you the truth I am not too confident of sewing brocade, so it
was a bless.
But with this 165 cm height and excess baggage here and
there the fabric would not be enough for me, so I added another soft maroon plain
chiffon fabric for the upper part of the gown. I made a high-waisted line with
high neckline gown. To make it look prettier I also added a belt of two scarfs (dark
green and goldish) which I tied and formed like flowers. And here I was with
the gown in my cousin’s wedding day:
